Colourlab Workshop #2/2016: Colour Deficiency

The second Colourlab Workshop of 2016 takes place at NTNU in Gjøvik on the 14th of April. It is organized with support from the HyPerCept project. The topic is colour deficiency, and the workshop co-chairs Thomas Joschua Simon-Liedke and Anne Kristin Kvitle are very proud to present you with an exciting programme, as follows:

 

Presentation session (kl. 9.00 – 12.00)

David Flatla:Modelling, Simulating, and Recolouring Impaired Colour Vision(kl. 9.00–10.00)

Anne Kristin Kvitle:Evaluation of Color Coding in Maps(kl. 10.15–10.35)

Joschua Thomas Simon-Liedtke:Image Daltonization in Gradient and Scale Space(kl. 10.35–10.55)

Hands on Color Deficiency Lab(kl.13.00-14.30 @ the cafeteria)

We are going to show different CVD tests like the Farnsworth 100 hue, the D16 hue, the HRR, the Ishihara tests, the anomaloscope etc. at a little  stand in the cafeteria. We are also going to present the daltonization glasses by EnChroma.

 

Round table discussionswith students and presenters. (kl. 15.00 – 16.00 )

 

No registration necessary, just show up and enjoy, on Thursday April 11 at 09:00! Except for lunch and the cafeteria stunt, the programme takes place in G303 (“Ørneredet”) at NTNU in Gjøvik.
