Four research papers accepted to CGIV 2008
A record number of four research papers from the Norwegian Color Research Laboratory have been accepted to CGIV 2008, IS&T's Fourth European Conference on Color in Graphics, Imaging, and Vision. The conference will take place in Terassa near Barcelona in Spain on June 9-13, 2008.
The accepted papers are
- Verification and extension of a camera-based end-user calibration method for projection displays, Espen Bårdsnes Mikalsen, Jon Y.Hardeberg, and Jean-Baptiste Thomas
- Evaluation of contrast measures in relation to observer perceived contrast, Marius Pedersen, Alessandro Rizzi, Jon Yngve Hardeberg and Gabriele Simone
- Rank order and image difference metrics, Marius Pedersen and Jon Yngve Hardeberg
- A color morphology based on pareto-dominance relation and hypervolume measure, Mario Koppen and Katrin Franke
- I am very pleased that the Norwegian Color Research Laboratory and Gjøvik University College will make ourselves duly noted in Europe's premiere gathering of academic and industrial researchers in the color imaging field, says Professor Jon Y. Hardeberg, who
will also be co-chairing the interactive (poster) session at the conference. The four papers give a very good sample of our current research activities, including research by master and PhD students and international collaborative research.
