We are happy to announce that a total of four papers from the Norwegian Color Research Laboratory have been presented at the Electronic Imaging Symposium 2008, which took place in San José, California in the end of January 2008.
Three of the papers are based on master theses carried out in the color lab in the spring semester of 2007, by our own Media Technology students and by international exchange students, while one is based on PhD student research.
Marius Pedersen's "Using gaze information to improve image difference metrics" and Barbora Kominkova's "Comparison of eye tracking devices used on printed images" were presented in the Human Vision and Electronic Imaging XIII conference, while Damien Lefloch's "Real-time people counting system" was presented in the Real-Time Image Processing 2008 conference.
PhD student Jean Baptiste Thomas's "An inverse display color characterization model based on an optimized geometrical structure" was presented at the conference Color Imaging XIII: Processing, Hardcopy, and Applications.
