Two research papers from the Norwegian Color Research Laboratory were accepted to CIC 16, IS&T's and SID's Sixteenth Color Imaging Conference. The conference took place in Portland, Oregon on November 10-15, 2008.
The accepted papers were:
Jon Yngve Hardeberg and Gabriele Simone represented the Norwegian Color Research Laboratory, and presented the two accepted papers in the poster session.
"Saliency Map for Human Gaze Prediction in Images" address how we can modify a saliency map algorithm to account for human faces in order to mimic the natural human attention. For more information take a look at the poster from CIC.
"Software with Visual Phenomena, Tests, and Standard Colorimetric Computations for Didactics and Laboratory" presents a complete software for standard colorimetry developed for laboratory computations and didactics. For more information take a look at the poster from CIC.
